Check the list of drugs covered by the Wal-Mart plan to see whether your drugs are covered. You can view the list at www.walmartfacts. com/articles/4495.aspx, or call your local Wal-Mart.
Compare the Wal-Mart price to the price you pay or your co-payment for generic drugs to see whether you could save. For example, other stores say their prices are comparable .
Ask your doctor whether it's wise for you to switch from a brand-name drug to a generic version to save money.
