Low Cost Prescription DrugsIf you go to get your prescriptions filled today, you will find something new at Target and Wal-Mart. The stores are the first to offer $4 generic prescription drugs statewide. The two chains each compiled a list of hundreds of generic drugs. One customer told us she would save about $100 a month, but her clients who are uninsured will benefit more. Sandra Harrington said, "It's very hard because they can't afford it so, it's a choice of eating dinner and eating for the month or not being able to have their prescriptions. It's a toss up between one or the other." By the end of the year, Wal-Mart and Target plan to roll out the same $4 plan nationally .For more information tune to Central Florida News 13.
